Unfortunately, we are not currently able to offer one-off veg box orders. You can choose to receive your box weekly, bi-weekly or monthly, depending on your requirements.
Head to our veg box page, choose your veg box, select the frequency of delivery, then head to your basket and click proceed to checkout. From there you will be able to set up your billing, payment and delivery details. Hey presto, you’ll be subscribed!

Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time. To do this you will need to log into your account, head to the My Account page and select the ‘My Subscriptions’ tab. Here you will be able to see all of your current subscriptions and see an option to cancel.
Yes! If you are wanting to change the size of your veg box, log into your account, head to the My Account page and then select the ‘Subscriptions’ tab. Scroll to the section that says ‘Subscriptions totals’ and here you’ll find a button that says ‘Upgrade or Downgrade’. Click this, select the new box you’d like as well as the frequency of delivery.
To change your payment method log into your account, head to the My Account page and select the ‘Payments’ tab. Here, you can edit or delete current payment methods and add new ones.
We don’t currently offer any options to add items to your order. However, we will be launching our ‘Little extras’ option very soon. This will include a range of seasonal optional extras that you will be able to add to your order before every delivery of your veg box. We’ll have eggs from our chickens, freshly baked goods from our sister enterprise, Cafe West, plants from the garden and even ceramics from our other sister enterprise, West House Pottery.
To change your delivery address, log into your account, head to the My Account page, and select the ‘Addresses’ tab. Here, you will be able to see your billing and delivery addresses. To change either of these addresses, click edit and enter your new address. If you intend your new delivery address to be your delivery address for the foreseeable, please ensure you tick the box that says ‘ Update the Shipping Address used for all future renewals of my active subscriptions (optional)’.
Currently, we only offer one type of veg box which is our Family Vegetable Box. This is filled with produce grown on our market garden site and from our network of UK growers and will always contain enough to feed a family of four for three to four days. However, the contents of the box will change week per week depending on the season and stock availability.
We will be adding more fruit and veg boxes to our range very soon so watch this space!
Unfortunately, we cannot currently accommodate preferences.
If you used to receive our veg boxes before we set up our website, you might notice that our prices have increased slightly. This is due to the increase in the cost of materials and the price rise of fuel. Although we have tried to absorb the rise in costs ourselves, it is no longer sustainable for us to continue to do this.
We deliver to various areas in West Cumbria:
Wednesday – Allenby, Aspatria, Gilgrux, Tallentire, Maryport, Dearham, Great Broughton
Thursday – Cockermouth, Clifton, Workington, Seaton, Camerton
Unfortunately, if you are outside of our delivery area, we can’t deliver veg boxes to you. However, we do offer a click and collect service from Cafe West in Workington every Thursday from 12-3pm with a free cuppa upon collection!
We have two delivery days per week, covering different areas in West Cumbria on different days:

We cannot guarantee a delivery time slot but we usually do our best to deliver between 10am – 3pm. However, we cannot guarantee your delivery will always fall into this timeframe.
No, you don’t. However, we will need details of a safe place or neighbour to leave your veg box with. If you are regularly not going to be in when we deliver, please leave an order note at checkout. If it is a one-off, please notify us via email or phone before your delivery.
Please note: we cannot take responsibility for any damage to the contents of your box or for any theft that may occur when your delivery has been left in your requested safe place.
Delivery on all of our veg boxes is free!
We try to ensure that all the produce in our veg boxes is of the best quality. However, If you are not happy with the quality of the contents please get in touch us via email or telephone and we will endeavour to replace any poor quality items.

Each box contains a selection of seasonal fruit and vegetables grown at our market garden site. With the option of adding some extra bits of produce from our Grow West gardens, our boxes will be delivered to your door ready for you to start getting creative in the kitchen!
